Hi fellow Ilanders,

We all know that there are lots of people who are getting wealthy by means that are not in conformity with the law of this land.

There are innumerable Govt servants who have a limited salary but who live the lifestyle much beyond what is possible only within their pay packet. They earn by illegal means, in the form of bribes, cuts etc. To talk about the call of conscience in them is futile.

But, what happens to the members of such family. The wife , the parents, the children. Do they get so blinded by the comforts and luxuries provided out of such illgotten money that they never think  as to how a person, say earning 25 K per month is driving around in a car which can not be purchased in entire amount of his five year's pay or any such example.The thought never comes across their mind to prevail upon such a bread earning member of the family to desist from such ways in life. Agreed this has almost become a way of life. Where does it all lead to ?

Is it possible that children of such family can ever be honest citizens

Would like to hear from you all, on this !!

P S.  It seems the issue of 'Corruption' does not bother my friends on the Iland. That'swhy this post attracted hardly any comment.
